Domenica Totty, winemaker for Jade Mountain wines, was born in Sebastopol, in Sonoma County, California. Growing up in this eclectic, agricultural town, she watched as the apple orchards around her home were gradually replanted to vineyards.
Domenica has over 10 years of winemaking experience, and her work with a large range of varietals from all over California makes her the ideal winemaker for Jade Mountain wines. Rhône varietals are among her favorites because of the diversity in their aromas and flavors. She says, “They can be crafted to showcase their floral characters or intensified into darker, brooding wines. The wines are so food friendly and can pair with today's modern food choices and trendy spiced foods.” |
